Printed journalism is in crisis. This title doesn’t include anything new. This is the case of printed newspapers and magazines (not funded by governments) worldwide, and the Lebanese and Arabic journalism in particular. In just two years, four Lebanese daily newspapers have stopped publishing along with more than a dozen of weekly, monthly, or quarterly cultural and non-cultural magazines.
The purpose of this introduction is our and your dear magazine “Dhoha”, since it is not a secret that Dhoha magazine could not continue publishing at its current committed and mastered level of content, which is very expensive to produce, print, and distribute solely from its annual subscriptions and sales in libraries and for individuals.
In other words, “Dhoha” magazine continues and will continue in the future by the grace of Allah in the first place and the unlimited support of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql, the President of Druze Council, and the designated administrative committee; along with the generosity of donations and financial contributions that provide its expenses: first from the members of the Board of Directors who has the greatest merit, second from the contribution of the Druze Council, and third from generous people constituting of leaders, mayors, public figures, and individuals.
Thanks to the efforts of the employees of Dhoha, who are dedicated to their work, and thanks to those mentioned above, Dhoha magazine continues to publish and develop to reach new segments in Lebanon, Syria and other regions.
Dhoha magazine is a noble mission accomplished together, not just a periodical publication; and will continue with the help of Allah, the Almighty, and the support of our friends along with the loyalty of our employees to be the unified Arabic national speech of the Unitarian Druze community.

Post-Taef Agreement Economic Policy:
As the Economic and Social Council for Lebanon, we seek development within various aspects, including economic, social, and environmental measures. Economic growth in this development framework is a goal defined by three criteria: financial stability, progress within social justice and equal opportunities through public spending, and the protection of natural resources from illicit exploitation. Violation of any of these constraints would demoralize the foundations on which the entire sustainable development path should be developed.
